Cuba reports 82 new cases of COVID-19, no deaths and 27 medical discharges 

At the end of Tuesday, September 8, Cuba reported 82 new cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative of 4,459 since last March; 27 medical discharges and no deaths, Dr. Francisco Duran Garcia, national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), reported this Wednesday at a press conference.

The specialist said that 1,470 patients are admitted to hospitals for clinical-epidemiological surveillance: 58 under surveillance, 786 suspects and 626 confirmed.

He said that 7,948 samples were studied in the country’s molecular biology laboratories and 82 of them were positive. The country accumulates 454 724 tests carried out; of which 4,459 were positive.
