Cuba reports 33 new cases of COVID-19, one death and 17 medical discharges 

At the close of this Monday, Cuba reported 33 new cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative of 4,065 since last March; 17 medical discharges and one deceased, reported in a press conference Francisco Duran Garcia, national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap).

The expert said that 1206 patients are admitted to hospitals for clinical-epidemiological surveillance: 28 under surveillance, 605 suspects and 573 confirmed.  4,958 samples were studied and 33 were positive. The country accumulates 403 181 tests carried out; of them, 4,065 positive.

Of the 4,065 patients diagnosed with the disease, 573 (14.1%) remain confirmed, 548, 95.6% with stable clinical evolution.

95 deaths are reported (one of the day), two evacuated, 17 discharges of the day, 3 thousand 395 recovered patients accumulate (84%).

Six patients in critical condition and 19 patients in serious condition are reported.
